Hi
First time poster here. Wasn't sure where to post this, hope I've got the right section. Anyway, I've been in receipt of IB for about 10 years and my last letter from the DWP said I was exempt from the PCA due to one of my conditions.
I have just read an article where a disabled man with learning difficulties had his benefits withdrawn because he was found fit at the JobCentre.
Anyway I now find myself preparing to do some home work as with the new IB rules coming in I think I will no longer be exempt. Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for finding home based part time work. Flexible hours would be nice as my medication makes me quite tired.
Can anyone suggest a good site to find such a job, have looked at JobCentrePlus and Reed but they don't seem to have any listings for home work especially in the Computer or Engineering field. I have my own computer and broadband and could do Customer service from home but it's finding where to look.
Can anyone help - thanks.

Why does it have to be home based? What's the nature of your problem without being too specific?
You're not going to find any tech support from home jobs to be honest and work from home jobs are typically piece work stuff or book-keeping types.0 -
Hi - Have you seen the thread about home based jobs with this firm? http://www.hirepoint.com/athome/index.html
Any good?0 -
BT sometimes do work from home as do the AA I believe.Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0

Thanks for the replies everyone. Geeni that site certainly looks worth investigating. Why at home? I am agoraphobic and have a major sleep disorder. Will also investigate BT and AA. Thanks0
