Can't see this mentioned anywhere else, apologies if I've just not looked in the right places!
Buy 3 food-to-go items at M&S and get a free lunch bag (small padded cool bag) normally priced at £2. Didn't check the T&Cs, but I don't think it specifies that it has to be 3 different items... I see a challenge coming on to see how little I have to spend to get one

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...

They are excellent lunch bags, you can buy 3 identical items, well you could with they 'buy 6 items' offer. I bought the 89p mini pork pies. Anyone find anything cheaper? What is the cheapest 'to go' item, in fact what range is this, is it the sandwiches etc?0

I'm not too familiar with M&S food, but I gather it's their version of a lunchtime 'meal deal', ie. sandwiches, drinks, crisps, cookies, salads, etc. It's not that easy to tell what's included or not - some of the stuff has a little logo with an arrow on it and other stuff just had 'food to go' along the shelf edge. Not sure what isn't included though. The person at the till never offered me a cool bag, I had to ask if I'd earned one - he said he didn't know, but he scanned one to check and sure enough it went through as free. The cool bag on offer with 3 items is a single compartment rectangular one with a handle. I never saw any other offer on display unfortunately but I quite fancy a few of the bigger ones as we seem to get through quite a lot of them!
By the way, I saw someone (with several hungry children in tow) ahead of me in the queue being surprised at being given 2 cool bags... so it would appear you get one for every 3 items you buy and not one per transaction. If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...0 -
I am feeling a bit feedup as I went in to M&S to see about this offer and there was no literature/sign up about it. I enquired at the till and the assistant know nothing. She even asked her supervisor. So is this offer only open in limited shops??? I never thought to ask them to scan the lunch box. I shall be ringing up I think to try and find out.
PS I did end up spending £3.85 on my lunch as well. Would have been better with a freebie.0 -
I also didn't see anything on this when i went into my local M and S on monday0

Cheapest item we could find was a packet of pretzels at 45p. The cashier confirmed that you only need to buy 3 packets of crisps to qualify for the free bag. No larger bags in our Marks, but heres hoping they get some soon.
Spent more as I got my lunch there today.
My colleague also gave me his free bag as he didn't want one.0 -
I bought 3 packs of "count on us" french fries at 45p a pack..Spent £1.35 and got the coolbag free..I think it's ideal for work...0

Some information on the offer.
Not all the stores are catalogued to receive the coolbag, I found this out. My store wasn't going to have the coolbag but now it is.
It is only subject to availability and if the store has run out they won't offer anything else as a replacement.
The coolbag is a black coolbag with the word 'lunchtime' on the back of the packaging and the word 'yummy' also on the back of the packaging and on the front of the bag.
It has the code 0047 0759 on the back and normally costs £2.
You need to buy 3 items from the Food To Go range such as crisps, drinks, sandwiches, cake slices with the Food to Go logo before you can get the bag for free and in most stores the cheapest way to do this is to get 3 packs of 45p snacks such as pretzels so in this case you spend £1.35 or 3 packs of 50p crisps so you spend £1.50 but you can do it even cheaper until they change it like they invariably will.0 -
Today went in to look for this, saw a board up about it but no lunchbags. M&S employee came up to me saying they were just about to bring some down & *SHE* advised me about some packets of crisps priced 40p which you could buy 3 of to get the free bag so that's what I did - £1.20 on 3 packets & the bag went through free.
