Haooy Easter peeps

Hope everyone OK today. Feeling fed up, cold, unloved and skint. Guess I am feeling sorry for myself today. My OH came back from his hols on Saaturday night and we spent most of the time rowing on the phone yesterday - sometimes I don't know why I bother:mad: All he could talk about was a) how cold he was - well ha has been skiing for over a week! b) how he felt unloved c) how his sister was nagging him to go round for dinner and resorting to using her kids to ring up whining that he wasnt there - he never agreed to go in the first place and d) listening to him whinge about his miserable family including his Dad. Needless to say I lost my temper - I am on a very short fuse at the mo. What I thought was comical was the fact that he was moaning about his dad who had cataract surgery last week and what a dreadful operation it is - its a walk in the park compared to what I have had to go through recently and facing more of the same - I dont get any sympathy from him:mad:

Slobbed in front of the TV yesterday and plan to do the same today - lets hoppe there is something good on. Tomorrow I plan to plonk myself in the jobcentre to sort out my JSA seems that my payments have stopped and I have to reapply for income-based JSA (someone told me that I would get about £8 a week - I cant live on that!).

Chatting to a friend on Saturday - she has persuaded me to swallow my pride and sign up for DLA, she is right I do need it and I am entitledd to it. In fact I shall start claiming for everything that I am entitled to from now on.

I shall also empty out my various cash jars to see what I can take to the bank to convert into notes - I need to start paying my OH back as he lent me £700 and I hate borrowing. I am also going to write to Amex because they have been charging me for RPI ever since I took the card out with them in 2003 and by my reckoning I have paid them £15K over the last umpteen years and to be honest it would look better in my bank account and theirs! I am now moneysaving with a vengence.

Well, best go and make a hot drink. Thanks for listening to my whinge, hope everyone has a lovely day.

PS. I hope Woolies have some of those Kitkat easter eggs at half price because I could do with a free activity day.

Horace It sounds like you could do with a (((HUG))) too. Have you and your OH had a chance to speak since arguing? I hope he realises how nasty he has been towards you I hope you manage to sort out JSA and DLA tomorrow.

Had to go and watch football cup final today and I was afraid I was going to freeze to death! We won 3-2 though, so worth it and we got to pose with the team for photos after! Hopefully they'll be in the local paper.

How has everyone elses easter been?
