This stuff does work, and is especially good if you use funny shaped or really detailed tins. Personally I never use it on an ordinary square/round cake though, greasing or lining the tins is cheaper, IMO. It's good though for things like angel cakes, or fat free sponges that can stick to tins. So, I'd say it's worth the money if you bake a lot and use shaped/moulded tins, or bake lots of delicate cakes, but it's probably not worth it if all you bake is 'ordinary' cakes. I'm not sure if it's cheaper anywhere else - maybe try a local cake decorating shop? It's fairly expensive stuff though, but it does last for ages.0

Didn't work for me

I've used it on really detailed cake tins (the last ones I used it on were some little rosebud shaped individual cake tins) and it worked ok for me - although tbh you probably get the same results if you grease and flour well ... I found too that it works best on really 'light' cake mixes. It wasn't brilliant with a normal creamed sponge, but it did make getting egg based sponges out a bit easier. I've found it helpful too on those Wilton tins that are really detailed. It's probably something that's more use to professionals rather than home bakers though.0

I found it works great for stopping the HM pizzas sticking on the baking tray, it does last for ages and is well worth it IMHO
I've never seen it anywhere else so I don't know if you can get it cheaper, sorry.0 -
It works for me but I've never been able to source it from anywhere other than Lakeland.
Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.0 -
It works, but I have found almost equal results from using my spray oil (I use the 1 cal per spray one) - more versatile and much cheaper too
