UK2.net - what's my alternatives?

I've currently a couple of domains with UK2.net but their customer service is so appalling I'll take the hit & dump them.
No email, no fax no phone. Ok until your email forwarding goes up the swanny and there's no one to complain to.
All I need is single domain and email forwarding, no multiple email addresses, no webspace, etc.
Just the absolute basic minimum.
May I have your suggestions for domain hosts please.

transfer them to 123-reg.co.uk - UK domains are free to transfer and international (.com etc) are a nominal fee (occasionally free). You get forwarding etc free with the service.0
