I've always found their books to be very reasonably priced online. Myleene Klass' new book "My bump & me" for instance, is £8.99 with free delivery to a local store - that's cheaper than pretty much anywhere else, even without any discount.
That's interesting because I always consider WHS to be terribly uncompetitive too. Maybe I'm out of touch?0 -
They often have quite a lot of good books reduced - especially the top sellers and there are often BOGOHP offers too. They are also often giving out vouchers for money off and sale days...
But it is always going to be difficult for any High Street retailer to compete with the likes of Tesco, Asda and in this case, Amazon - they are out to conquer the world didn't you know?....
Anyway, today's offer finishes at 10am so I'm off to look for some last minute bargains....I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
I got a paper there this weekend and received a voucher for £5 off any book over £10 starting 3-March to 9-March. High street stores. One book only.
Not sure if they are still giving these vouchers out.0 -
I bought jamie at home for 10.62 as well. worth noting that quidco tracked at 0.8% rather than 8%. instead of 80p I got 8p. Still not complaining, will do for the wife's birthday present (and it'll be for me anyway!)it's not the council's fault your band is wrong, blame the Valuation Office !!!!! :rolleyes:0
