February 29th - an extra days pay?

This is my first post so hello to everyone. My colleagues and I have a question about the 29th of February. We get paid at an hourly rate but are paid monthly. Since the 29th of February falls on a Friday we are essentially working an extra day. What are the legal, or moral, issues regarding this? Should we get paid for the extra day or do we bite the bullet and accept our wages are worked out over the course of the year, regardless of this extra day? Hope that makes sense!

You're on hourly rate so the question is irrelevent as you get paid for what you work.
If it were salaried, you'd have a point but you're not.
Being paid monthly has no bearing on it.0
