Hi all
sorry for bumping up an old thread.
This company keep phoning our house asking for a Mr Mooney. Have told them that no Mr Mooney lives in our house and never has. We recently changed our phone to BT so presume maybe Mr Mooney had this number before us.
Its driving us mad. I've told them numerous times to remove the number from their database but to no avail.
Whay can i do ? Does anyone know their snailmail address so i can write to themTRYING hard to be a good money saver :rolleyes:0 -
I owed ebay £22.67 and was unable to pay by e-cheque through paypal (had removed my debit card) so my debt was passed to Interim Justicia and a charge was added bringing my total owed to £30.67.
A lady called me from Interim Justicia and was very rude. Didn't answer my questions, wouldn't let me speak (trying to predict what I was going to ask I think) and generally very short with me.
I began to explain the situation to her that I no longer have a debit card and ebay would not accept my paypal e-cheque. I was going to find out from her another method I could use to pay but she interrupted me saying "fine then I'll send it to further action goodbye" and hung up.
I then called the head office on the number given by the gentleman a few posts above this. The lady I spoke to happened to be the complaints officer, she traced the lady who had called me even though a note wasn't left (and I'd made a note of the name so know she was correct) and told me action will be taken (she seemed genuinely unimpressed but I don't know or care to be honest)
She also removed their fees by way of apology so all I am doing is sending a cheque to cover the amount of my original ebay fees of £22.67.0 -

I think what they are doing to you is harrasment, perhaps that word will scare them. Maybe phone the head office and see if they can suggest anything.0
