The last time my son couldn't give me any positive or sensible suggestions for things that he needed we realised that he didn't need anything and so I gave a donation to an organisation that helps with education of children in Africa. He had a trip to the cinema with a friend.
Just because it's your birthday doesn't mean you have to have presents. If you really need the latest games console than you can wait until it is out! It might be a refreshing change to your parents NOT to have to spend a fortune on keeping you happy.
If there's "not much point after the 30th" then you can really need anything and a token gesture gift of their choosing would do just as well.
Enjoy being 15

Ask for cash, you can put it towards a psp in November, or what about a theme park season ticket, I think the madam tassures cost £80 but gets you in all the parks and special events.I remember when this was just a little website! :money:0

Why dont you ask your parents/parent to take you out somewhere for the day, somewhere you have not been for a long time.
I really miss my boys being little so on the first day of the school hols we all went to Chester Zoo and it was actually brilliant. We were looking at things from a much different perspective then when we originally went. Our family is always busy so to do something simple together just for the day was realy fun. My boys are 13 and 15.
Just a suggestion

if my mum or dad ever did that to me when i was a nipper i'd have asked for a tent for Christmas, moved into it in the local park and shopped them to social services for cruelty0 -
well said your allowed to be shallow on your birthdayscheming_gypsy wrote:if my mum or dad ever did that to me when i was a nipper i'd have asked for a tent for Christmas, moved into it in the local park and shopped them to social services for cruelty0 -

why???
OMG what has happend to our kids....where sharing was considered normal or a necesary evil.....?!
There is no reason to be shallow on your birthday or any other day of the year. But as it is your birthday, you can ask for what you want. As for if it is after the 30th don't bother, I often get my gifts after my birthday, but get homemade vouchers from my mum for the money (I'm 29!) as I don't always know what I want. I then let her know when I see something I need and she either gives me the money or buys it for me.
Hope you have a great birthday0
