B and Q delivery

Does anyone know if B&Q do in-store home deliveries and if so how much (6*4 garden shed) ?.
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.

it's based on order value I think and also potentially the distance from the store they deliver, they normally have signs on walls near Cust Service desks with a map showing which area is which and what days they deliver along with costs. Can't remember off top of my head though. Does their website mention anything www.diy.com?0

In-store deliveries are much more expensive than internet ordered deliveries. My local B&Q charges £30 for a delivery, but I ordered a small pvc storage shed from the internet last autumn & delivery cost was £5 per delivery regardless of number of items. It arrived within 2 days, in spite of receiving an email to confirm order that stated estimated delivery 14 days but to allow up to 28 days. I'm not a great B&Q fan, but they did excel themselves on this occasion. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
lets see if i can remember this right
if its under £400 and within a 10 mile radius its £20 delivery, under £400 and outside a 10 mile raidus its £50.
over £400 and within a 10 mile raidus ifs free delivery, outside the 10 mile raidus its £30
thats if you buy instore, you can also get it delivered to the store and pick it up for free.
online it would usually depends on the price but is the bast way to buy things and save on postage. but i don't think they have any 6x4 sheds available.
my opinion, if you can pick it up instore then that is the best way to go.Hello Floor Make Me A Sandwich!0 -
I'd concur with the last. I recently purchased items amounting to £399. The very helpful store staff advised me if I ordered something else to take it over £400 I'd get delivery free and could then return the additional item which I didn't require anyway - worked a treat, got my refund no problem!
And delivery was super-speedy as well; by the time I'd got home from the store there was a phone message asking when I'd like them to come!0 -
Ring them and find out !0

Try places such as :

These may be better value and offer free delivery.0 -
Anyone know if B and Q ever do discount codes? I'm thinking of buying an £800 greenhouse so it could be worthwhile. Cheers, L.0
