Oh goodness....you are so lucky!! With all this 'low salt' craze going on, most peanuts now are reduced salt and taste horrible! Even the named ones!! I wish they would just put them back as they were before.0

Put them in a sieve and rinse them quickly in cold water, give them a good shake and then dry on a clean t-towel. I wouldn't soak them but rinsing them should get rid of all the excess salt. I've done this before. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

This will work 100%
Wet your towel and wipe them and once that is done put them in microwave at low (3) probably for about 3 mins each 3 to 4 times. Once that is done let them get cold and they will be fine. Further they will not be soggy and will also last long and be crispier.
I do this with Almonds Roasted Almonds they turn out great . IF you need recepie pl email me I can certainly provide.
This is absolutely MSE style saving,saving,saving!!!!!0 -

In an old series of The Royal, there was an old lady who sucked the sugar off of sugared almonds - she then offfered visitors the almonds!0

an idea what i've just had! layout a drying up cloth/towel. put them in a layer on one half, fold over and rub gently - surely some of the salt will get caught in the loops/material of the cloth?
..... or how about a quick wipe over with a piece of kitchen roll. I hate it when you get to the bottom of the bag and empty the last few onto your hand - you get all the remaining salt with them as well yukky:eek: !0 -
You may think the nuts/sugared almonds are jokes but while I worked on a geriatric ward these sorts of things happened regularly.
