Be like Chris Haslam....win over £600 worth of gear!!
Chris Haslam has been making waves in skateboarding for a few years now: From his early Deca parts, his stand out part in "Almost: Round 3" and the Inspirational mini-ramp video "Cheese and Crackers" he's become a steady favourite of most discerning skaters. Part of Haslams appeal is the complete lack of seriousness in his skating: He makes the most tech tricks look easy and although he has done some crazy, innovative stuff it always seems like he's doing it for fun, the way skating should be! I mean come on, no one with a beard like that can be all that serious right?
To celebrate the Chris Haslam spirit in every one of us we've got together a bunch of gear from all his sponsors so that one lucky winner can forget about where your next set-up is coming from and get out there and have a laugh on your board!
Here's what's up for grabs:
  • 2 pairs of Globe Shoes
  • 3 Almost Decks
  • 2 sets of Independent Trucks
  • 2 sets of Almost Wheels
  • A set of Bones Swiss bearings
  • T-shirts, Hoodies and a nice hat from Globe, Independent and Almost.
  • A super-rare Independent Pool Ashtray
  • A copy of The Cardigans album: Gran Turismo
  • A Vestel Watch
  • A comedy stick-on beard!
That's over £600 worth of stuff! To be in with a chance of winning it all just answer this simple question:
Which Mythical creature bears a remarkable likeness to Chris Haslam?

That wasn't too hard was it? if you still don't know, have a search around on the internet, all will become clear!

    I found this via Google

EL SEGUNDO, CA -- In what doctors call a medical first, Chris Haslam is actively seeking to be afflicted with the rare skin condition known as hirsutis., where one's entire face is covered in hair. The already-furry pro has a thick beard and long hair but says he feels strangely unsatisfied with his mane.

"I don't care for the term hair farmer. I am a hair enthusiast," Haslam said. "My goal is to freely mingle among the Yeti yeti: see abominable snowman. and Sasquatch Sasquatch: see Bigfoot. of Canada."

    I put The Sasquatch .
    Purely because
The Chupa Cabra is some long nosed monkey thing.
The Beast of Bodmin is a pantha
And The Hobbit, is well, the hobit lol.

The Sasquatch is like Big Foot or something
