Kids birthday party present ideas

DD has been invitied to a party of a friend from school that I wasn't expecting... luckily still got some Boots 3for2 presents left over in the cupboard from christmas (tee-hee)
But these are nearly running out.. thought I had bought loads of bubble bath for my "present box" but it seems not
Boots no longer have these bubblebaths on 3for2
Any ideas? Looking at buying bulk set of books on bookpeople and splitting them for presents.

Hmm...
Depends how old child is and gender!
If girl aged between about 7 to 11 you can get away with standard size clothing for there age at asda, nice little stylish tops there for under £5!
If boy aged between about 7 to 11 you can get chocolate or maybe something that makes rude noises?!
If older then 11 gift vouchers always seem to work nicely. Eg If a boy a game voucher? If a girl maybe money or a voucher for boots so she can go buy make up or something?! lol
Just a suggestion...
(PS i love the idea of the boots 3 for 2 xmas presents! brilliant idea!!)I'm getting married in August 2015:j0 -
How about making a homemade chocolate slab, quite easy to do and your DD can decorate it to suit her friends. If you’re British in the living room, what are you in the bathroom? European!0

don't know if Claires Accessories still have the 5 for £5 on - but we got dora bags, bratz stationary sets, fluffy jewelley box, fairy wings, hair accessories sets - all pu away in the pressie cupboard -
I usually try to get something that they like (after asking their mum) i.e. My Little pony, dr who figure (about £5ish) and then add one of the small pressies that I have picked up for about £1. to bulk it up a bit.
I pick up things like barbies, lego, nice cars when I see them reduced or on BOGOF so I usually have something in the cupboard that will do for the main bit of pressie.0 -
Have a look at Amazon as they're doing a big sale on toys at the moment. You can do a search based on type of toy, brand, age of child, cost etc.

Emmie,
I recently got 3 for £2 toys in Poundland. I ended up with 2 paint your own piggy banks and a soap making set I think it is. Handy for when DS gets invited to a party.

last week claire's accessories were doing £3 lucky bags of jewellery - hope they still are as they would be handy for you - also I go to Primark for girly things like bags, tights or little tops for girls of just about any age (put sparkly flip flops, sarongs, beach bags away for summer birthday girls just in time for their holidays). Boys over 10 seem to want vouchers but for little lads I get the horrible science kits which start at about £6+Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale - Hans Christian Andersen2012 savings:remortgage £156.15pcm £5 pcm insurance reduced; 2012 Running totals: £10 goodwill requests/Grocery Coupons £12:T0
