evening all. Got a poser for you.
I have been in discussion with moorcroft debt recovery since last year regarding an apparent outstanding bill for british gas.
I paid the bill, i know i paid the bill, my bank knows I paid the bill but no matter how much and how many times i send proof to these poeple they are simply denyiong that I have paid the bill. Other times they come back and say that I have paid but they rejected the payment. Either way I have paid and like I said the bank knows I have paid and they have also written to these people stating that.
Now what my question is: Is that they have asked me AGAIN to send bank statements and I dont want to waste the time and expense. Is it worth me letting them take me to court just to get rid of them or will it affect my file??
AND does anyone reckon I can get damages off these morons??
any help very appreciated as usual.
