Bargain Easter Eggs

Its my sons Birthday over the easter break......and instead of giving party bags, we thought an easter egg would be a nice idea....

Tesco had some nice little boxed eggs with smarties, maltessers etc inside for 99p and they were Buy on get one free. We went to buy a load(50) over the weekend but they weren't on offer anymore they had changed to 85p per egg !!!!

Has anyone seen any bargain eggs??

Thanks in advance

Mark

  • The thread is for big family sized eggs. I am looking for the smaller boxed eggs. These are smaller eggs with sweets inside the egg. usually between 50p - £1.00.
  • costco had large bags of eggs for about £3.49. Not sure how many in each bag. do you know someone who belongs?

  • Hi, Its my sons birthday too on good friday although his party will be saturday, what we have done is got party bags and you know those mini creme egss & caramel eggs, we got some of those on offer in sainsburys 2 bags for £1.80 and will be putting these in the bags.

Also in asda there are little fluffy chicks in eggs which zip open, these are £1 each and was going to get a few as prizes for party games.

Other than that how about £1 shops sometimes they do deals on the smaller size eggs. Might be worth a look.

Or if you like cooking you could bake some little cookies like chick shapes and decorate, place in a nice decrotive bag, effective and cheap.
