The person giving the advice is from the National Debtline - a charity that gives practical help to those in debt.
They also have fantastic information on their website - by far the best and most comprehensive I've seen on the web. Martin recommends them, in addition to Payplan and the CCCS. However, National Debtline's website is well worth a visit
