I see from your location you are close to Birmingham and that you like seafood.

There is a real treasure of a stall in Birmingham Bullring indoor food market called Pearce's Shellfish.

They do cooked seafood to take away - cockles,whelks,jellied eals,oysters prawns,crabs lobsters etc.

They also have a counter where you can stand at to eat at the time - people love it. I have a treat each week when I am working in Birmingham. Seafood cocktail and a couple of oysters for £3. Makes a change from a sandwich.

In addition they have raw stuff - eg scallops,prawns etc to buy and even a live counter for lobsters mussels crabs razor clams even eels swimming in a bucket etc.

It is a real treat - and so nice to be supporting a business that has been established since the 1930's.

It is a hidden gem - give it a go and you will be getting the best seafood you can get given that as a midlander we are so far from the sea.
