in Cutting tax
hello im new, i need some info please
this year i have earnt 6100 through employment, i have paid just under 900 in tax so i think i am due a refund. used an online calc and its about 750 due back i think.
i have phoned my tax office and they told me that as im claiming jobseekers that the jobcentre would pay it to me and i should ring them, which i did and was told they only sort that out at the end of the tax year. is there anyway i can get this sooner at all?
any help much appreciated

The tax office is correct. As JSA is taxable, the refund can only be made at the end of the tax year when your total income for the year is known.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0

Tax rebates are only ever paid after the end of the tax year.0
