Bank Charges update

Apologies as I know the info will be out there on what the outcome of bank charges is but Im reading so many mixed reports.
Is it still possible to reclaim bank charges or is there still a test case ongoing.

In a nutshell there is a hold on while test case goes thru court but this is for bank charges only, credit cards, store cards and payment protection insurance claims can all still be made.

Hiya - the case itself has now finished I believe but it could be several months until there is an outcome.

But if anyone is waiting to put their claim in, do it now, because if banks do start having to pay the charges back, you can claim 6 years back from when you send in your letter (so if you do it now, it's 6 years back from today....if you wait another 6 months, it will be 6 years back from then).

Longer than that, I reckon. Judgment in the High Court, then the loser goes to the Court of Appeal, perhaps even the House of Lords. Could be 2-3 years, easily.

I ve lurked on the boards for some time now and taking My first tentative steps to facing up to the mess we are in.I need to put my SOA together as soon as i get home(I work away and all the details are at home of exact figure)but this site has never failed to amaze me with the knowledge and genuine understanding that goes on here.:T

Is it possible to reclaim for charges that have been put on my stepsons loan?All I keep reasing about are bank charges, store card charges, PPI & credit card charges.Any help would be great!!
