  • Take out the meat and the blend the sauce with a stick blender? Might get rid of the curdled look.

You're a star, have tried putting some cornflour paste in now and will experiment with the meat when we get in. x

Let us know how you go! I'm only guessing here myself :D Hopefully it can't make it any worse than it is (that sounds awful but you know what I mean :) )

Never mind the curdled dinner, the OP has used chicken BREASTS in a slow-cooker! Careful love, that's a hanging offence around here ;)

Since I decided that the most expensive cut of chicken would be much too lavish for slow-cooking. :p Plus, a whole chook or even cheaper pieces would probably have more flavour.

I'll have to take the punishment then lol. We have chicken breasts once in a 3 month period (how often we go to the farm) hence why I didn't want to waste them. Whole chooks are always roast (stretched and made stock from) for a sunday dinner and I haven't been able to eat any other sort of meat on the bone since I've been pg, so thighs/wings are out. Could probably have done something more inventive with breasts yes but to be honest I'm so blimen tired now I don't really care so it was a lazy decision not a lavish one trust me! :p
