Hello Money Savers, whilst on the subject of Sat Navs with European level mapping for cheap, I've just upgraded my Sat Nav from a Navman F20 to the Navman N20.

Anyway, the Navman N20 is currently on offer at Maplin for £109.99 (online or instore) see www.maplin.co.uk It has European Maps provided on CD for those people who need them, or else UK mapping is already pre-loaded and easy to plug-and-drive. It also features Points of Interest (POI) buttons, which include petrol stations, full 8 digit postcode, good graphics and even Navpix, which allows you to navigate by pictures (dependent on people having uploaded the pictures in the first place). All in all a good buy I think.

I've used Navman for a few years now and find them easy to use, and pretty accurate, obviously check out the Navman website for more information. Hope this helps someone.

You can get the Garmin NUVI 250 for £109.15 incl p+p from Handtec

Or get the Garmin NUVI 310 for apx £120 from various places. This will come with v9 maps of the UK. Garmin has now brought out new maps called '2008', if you register your unit on the Garmin website you can get a free update from v9 maps to the new 2008 maps, the 2008 map DVD comes with all of Europe on it. The advantage of the NUVI 310 over the NUVI 250 is that it comes with bluetooth and also the ability to add the TMC traffic receiver.
