help flying soon need Bags for carrying liquids in cabin luggage

Hi ... does anyone know where I can buy the sealable bags needed for carrying liquids in cabin bags during flight ...

I need to buy some does anyone know if the sealable bags you can get in the supermarkets are suitable ?

I flew from Gatwick last week and they were handing them out free as you went through security. There were about 5 people dressed in bright yellow stopping everyone to ask if they had liquid and needed a bag. HTH.

we just use resealable sandwich bags from asda or tesco. never had a problem with them, we usually take a box of them and stick stuff in them when we go on water rides in theme parks.

further to LMN's post not all airports offer the free bags, some do but others have vending machines selling them, its cheaper to buy a box of them than pay the machine prices.

hi thanks for that guys ... just found out my son is travelling at the weekend so will get him to keep his eyes open at the airport and if he sees some he can bag me some (ha ha ... sorry about the "pun")
