swapping morgage deals on DMP

I am worrying all the time about starting a DMP with CCCS it starts next month .
Our fixed rate morgage its with intelligent finance ends in a years time so we will be put back onto there variable rate which will mean we will have to pay around £150 per month extra to what we are paying now .

So in a years time it is going to be a struggle again usually we would have asked itelligent finance what other deals they have to avoid going back onto a variable rate but now i will be on a DMP will they let me do this ?

I have asked this question on the morgage forum and was advised by a morgage adviser to remorgage as lenders do credit checks even just to swap over deals ,he said being on a DMP i will not find another lender (i really would like to stay with IF morgages just swap deals )

We have not got that much equety in the house so thats not an option ,he has really worried me .I wondered has anyone else had problems with there morgage since starting DMP ?

We've never had a problem getting a new deal, ours is due again in May. The mortgage adviser you spoke to was wrong we have had both Abbey and Natwest willing to take on our mortgage. I would talk to your lender as they might be more flexable than you think.
