£19.99??? That's a bit TOO cheap, Are you sure it's not meant to be £199.99?

    hi yoshii

no it has its own mapping(supplied by teleatlas preinstalled on a mmc card(no need to buy anything extra just plug and play).i think u will find this will also have a lot of different modes(including night mode)if u want more info check the link below to see a review.

most of the mapping software is very similer to be honest so unless your a sat nav expert theres not much to choose between em for everyday use(of coarse the newer the maps are more of the latest roads will be covered)

hes got it wrong its a bluetooth headset not a motorola v3 handset
  • With regard to the phone. It is a Nokia 1100 which is very much a no-frills mobile and as such is ideal for my mother (a luddite) however it does have a torch built in (the phone, not my mother) which may prove useful (again, the phone, not my mother). It comes with a vodaphone simcard but I just swapped that for my T-mobile one and it worked so it looks like it doesn't even need unlocking. When it's registered I should get £5 credit too. I don't see that you can go wrong for 20 quid.

I got the Medion Sat Nav recently when it was on special offer in Aldi. It is brilliant and has saved me a fortune in petrol as I no longer go round in ever decreasing circles to find my destination.

I raved about it to my ex, but he wasn't convinced until last Friday when he gave me a lift. We got stuck in an horrendous traffic jam on the M-way due to an accident, and I used the Sat Nav to take us a different route avoiding the M-way.

He went out today and bought one from Somerfield!

Does the one he got today have expansion slots, can it take SD/MMC cards?

The unit is supplied with a 256 mmc which means it would take an SD card as well

Thanks for that but just to confirm, is this from first hand knowledge? Only reason I ask is that the one linked to above:
