I actually like this song, not like that in rainbows, which was rubbish compared to thier older stuff, okay so 4 or 5 of the songs didnt even work, I figured theyve prolly not given me the good songs as I downloaded it for free, but this is a decent song, and may be interested in the album if I see it anywhere cheap enough.

In rainbows was Radiohead wasn't it? The Charlatans album will be available shortly for free anyway so you wont need to look to see it cheaply!

Must admit, I've seen The Charlatans a few times and recently i've found them really disappointing, but this is a great way to reintroduce people to their music without the risk of buying an album that is pants!

yeah it was radiohead, must admitt Ive only heard a few of thier older songs but liked then, nothing on what downloaded from inrainbows was good in my opinion.

Yeah but if more songs are good then Id be happy to pay for a hard copy, my computers prone to dying and wiping everything anyway. Ive not seen them live so cant comment on that, but yeah definately is a good idea even if people havent heard of them good way to get them interested.

Just to let you know, The Charlatans are releasing the new album on March 3rd, and it is available as a free download for the full album from the XFM website

It is also going to be released as a hard copy at a later date. They are also doing a tour to promote the album, which I've got my tickets booked for the Leicester Uni gig. I've seen them loads of times and always try to get to see them when they tour. The full list of tour dates is on their website too.

It not on Monday then, hopefully it will be sometime next week.

It was rather embarrassing starting this thread and then finding that the single did not appear for a few days, although it did give some people the chance to catch up with their last one.

The intro reminds me a bit of the theme tune from a TV music show "back in the day". Could it be Top of the Pops and Thin Lizzys' Yellow Pearl? Oh that's going to bug me now...
Sounds ok though, looking forward to the full album.
