  • I agree, the birthday cakes are the BEST!
It was my 21st this year and I had one of the massive £9.99 birthday cakes and it went round 40+ with loads left - and they are soooo yummy!

Crocs!! The kids ones were £13 ish and the adults £21 ish. I love Costco, the quality is fantastic even though the prices aren't rock bottom its worth it.

    What a great thread!

The meat and fish is fab quality

Seconded. The meat is really top quality, and has been mentioned, the sides of salmon are good value too, and we always have some cut into steaks in our freezer.

With most other food things though, it does help if you know what the supermarket costs are first.

I believe that they have tightened up their policy recently, but their guarantees are great. We had to return a leather bag that had broken, they looked up the purchase on their computer system and we had a refund without trouble even after more than a year.

  • dh and ds would reccommend the hot racks of ribs for around a fiver.their cafe is very good also, big hot dogs and free refils on the sodas.alot of the stuff is a little cheaper but you have to be careful if you cant claim your vat back and make sure you budget accordingly.
think the good thing is they only sell well known brands so the quaity is better than your average warehouse.
someone asked re price.its £29 per year for non trade ,thats for you and up to 2 guests, i think.you still have to be in a certain group of emplotment so its worth checking their website.
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

    hi

Has anyone bought a Tefal Actifry from Costco recently and if so what price did you pay. I have seriously been thinking of purchasing the Actifry and I believe around Xmas time they were selling the Actifry for £99. (rrp £149).

    thanks

  • The meat at costco is the best. Kirkland ice cream, I cant tell the differance between that and Ben and Jerrys.......apart from the price.
I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you :p

Great thread-I like the sound of their ice-cream!
Dips are great value, Tzatiki, houmous, guacamole etc.
Great for entertaining, beer, bud, all good value.

I was going to buy toilet paper last week, but the v kind lady on the till told me they are going to be on offer starting a week Monday (ie 3rd March). She didnt know what the offer was, but I thought it will be worth waiting.
