Hi chick, ok. I reaally think you need to get some advice from the CAB or one of the other debt counelling charities, I know you will be fretting tonight but please try not to now. You have come to the right place. You will get tons of support on here. There will be a lot more people who are more knowledgeable than me or moneysavingmum on here in the morning. Now you have made the step to get help and advice the best thing you can do now is go to bed and try and get a peaceful nights sleep. The lovely peeps on here will more than likely ask you to go into more detail tomorrow about your circumstances. This is only so they can give you the best advice and support. Honestly honey, please dont fret tonight now. Sending you huge hugs for now. If you get desperate to want to speak to someone tonight then all you need to do is type bump onto your thread, that way your thread will stay at the top of the list on first page. And anyone who is still up will see it.Night Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi
Have a look at this for info and see if there is a similar Trust in your area.

I do know that your water bill can be paid in full if you qualify.0 -
Hi cat. I know how difficult it is, and would second smashed's recommendation that you speak to the CAB. They'll be able to advise you whether you're getting everything you're entitled to (in the meantime, you can get a fairly good idea from https://www.entitledto.com), and how to clear your debts. You did the right thing in clearing the Council Tax debt as that can cause you terrible trouble.
Would you like to post a Statement of Affairs on here so that people can advise on any savings you can make in your current budget? It's usually a good place to start (and the CAB and debt agencies will advise you to do the same thing). See this link for assistance with this: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280

Hi cat,
Hope you managed to get some sleep-I know it's really scary, but there are lots of lovely people here to support you, and some great organisations like the CAB who can give you advice too.
If you give them a call, keep us updated about how you get on, and when you are ready, post your SOA so we can help you see where you can make savings to pay off the arrears faster xxx0 -
