Half Price Contact Lenses at Tesco

The law has changed and you can now get your contact lenses from places other than your optician. This increased competition is already driving the prices down.

Tesco are selling monthly disposable contact lenses from their opticians, pharmacies, and online for about £5 a month - about half what you'd pay at somewhere like Boots. Tripple clubcard points are available online during the launch period.

Just had a look on the Tesco website at Contact Lenses. They are selling 1 months supply of Daily Disposeable lenses for £19.00. I'm sure this is cheaper than Specksavers.

Just checked out Tesco's - mine are around £28 for 6 months supply - I'm paying £72 for 6 months worth. Am going to change over immediately!!! Thanks very much!

just checked out the prices on Tesco, 3 months supply of the focus daily disposables £57, that's £228 for a years supply. I paid £219 for a years supply in December from postoptics (£20 discount for a web order).They are really fast, had no probs at all.Their prices are still the same now, I've just checked. No clubcard points though...
Might be worth keeping an eye on in case a price war starts!
