Broadband Newbie, What's IC24 like?

I've been seriously thinking about getting boradband for ages. With so many providers and services making a choice isn't easy. But I've just found the following and wondered what people thought:
http://www.ic24.net/services/broadband/
Free modem, potentially 2Mb bandwidth and 5 Gb limit. Starts at £9.99 for 3 months and is 16.99 for the remaining 9 months. Works out at £15.24 during the course of the year. Is it too good to be true?

I signed up for IC24 about a month ago - and it was a good move. I am new to broadband and I've got a 2meg connection now - it's really fast. I contacted IC24 customer support loads before I agreed to sign up and I was impressed with how fast they got back to me. I have only been billed 9.99 a month so far, I have 2 more months of that billing - but then it rises to 16.99. It's a cheaper package than other providers who offer similiar packages - 2meg with a 5GB usage limit (last month, I only used 0.97GB so 5GB might be a bit excessive for me, but it's nice to know it's there if i need it or if my kids come home from uni for a while). Also, you get a free .co.uk domain name with the service that other providers were charging extra for.
I averaged the total costs over a year and I realised that the total yearly cost wasn't that much more than what I was paying for dial-up. I would recommend IC24. I hope that is helpful.0
