Argos have got an Olympus D575 digital camera for £80.It's only a tenner off but the spec looks good for the price. 3.2M pixels,3x optical zoom,3x digital zoom.Any advice appreciated(this will be my first digital camera!)

Similar model D580 (4M pixel instead of 3) from Olympus gets good review on Steve's Digicams. I think it would be a good choice for a first camera, and the price is fair. It is an older model (ie only about 12 months on the market!), but that's why the price is low.
With a set of rechargeable Ni-Mh AA batteries & charger (£13.99), a larger capacity (say 128Mb) XD memory card (£9.99), and a case (£6.79) from www.7dayshop.com, you will have a good start in digital photography for around £110.People are more important than things0
