    Broadway Melody of 1929 won an Oscar and had the same outfits and headwear but I can't find that atual picture, just the advertising ones.

  • My first instinct was with broadway melody... but the backdrop ( behind the dancers didn't seem right ) I'm sure Broadway melody was more Metropolis like with the backdrop. iyswim.

  • its the exact same outifts, with the black shoes, that are making me sway towards that... but i'm only 19 so probably if i think its that, then it's anything but :D

    I've checked out Gold Diggers of 1933/1935 and 1937 as well as 42nd Street and some other dance related films and they all look similar to the picture but I can't find the exact screenshot! Grrrrr!
