2 credit cards now over their limits..help!

I have just recieved my HSBC credit card and its gone over its credit limit of 4k. Im so upset as were trying soo hard to keep on top of them and it dosent seem to be working:mad:

Also got barclaycard which is over its limit of 3k too.

What should I do? Which should I pay? Pay minumums off or lumps and forget about other household bills/tax for a mth?

Anyone else had probs with up to the limit cards?? What did you do...?

Why has it gone over its limit? Have you got online banking with HSBC? - that way you could monitor your balance during the month.

No I dont bank with HSBC. I think a few ebay payments came out (sellers fees) which I forgot about and then the damn interest plus late fees......ARRRRRRGH *thumping head against a wall*
