Currys Games Clearence 97p - Sunday

went to comet this morniing at NOTTINGHAM it was rubbish they only had 9 games on offer on all formats and none were on offer very poor showing, evene if i wanted to buy one at full price there was no choice WOEFUL dont get too excited about it and dont make a special trip i was after the snooker for psp at 99p.

You should have tried Currys because thats where the offer is on.

Irvine store this afternoon. Young girl at counter said "I haven't saw any of those today" when I asked about 97p games. All games still marked and scan at £14.97 etc. She went away to "ask the guy who deals with the games" and came back with the appropriate red neck to say "they've all sold out this morning".

Took a nice big pile to scan through and non were there. Went next door to PC world and they had a big bin of cheap games but nothing too special.

Yes that'd be me, some reports on HUKD though that Gears of War may be reduced tomorrow to 97p - they had 1 on the shelf at Durham but it scanned as full price along with all the others I found.

Found an ipod nano dock for 97p (old style) and BF2142 for PC for £4.97 - both pretty good as one will do for my mates bday and been looking for the game for some time now (on the cheap).

Hi folks i just got back from the Currys @ Garthdee(aberdeen) they had to basket full of reduced games no psp or ds to be had:(I got 3 PS2 games:-Charlie & the chocolate factory,junior board games and rugby challenge 2006 not the best in the world but for 97p each i'm happy enough and my son is delighted so thats all that matters eh?;)There was still a couple of the Junior board games and rugby 06 left when i left but the rest of the games are all £9.97 upwards! I did get a pile price checked but that was all there was:)So unless you are after any of the 2 i've mentioned for 97p it's not worth a once earned trip IMHO;)
Have any of my fellow Aberdonians been to Currys @ Kittybrewster,St.Nicholas Centre or to PC World by any chance?

I popped into wimbledon one...couldnt find anything reduced to 97p. Did get them to scan a few things but nothing came up as discounted

Nothing in Oxford (clarendon centre) now for DS (didn't check the others) asked the SA to scan a big pile - only one different to what was priced was sega casino - priced at 19.95, rang up at 9.95. Worth a try though - thanks for the heads up OP.
