i went in Saturday and a m8 printed off all the stock level and prices for me i went today with a big shopping list and spent a wee while scanning the shelves and baskets and located 1 x DS, 2 x same game for the xbox360, 6 x PSP and 1 PS2 plus the xploder lite for the ps2 all @ 97p.

2 unhappy shop assistants sifting through them all and one happy bunny with a bag full of games lol and not amused that i had this list and asked how i got it....yea like i was going to tell her lol , i could have got more but this being my second big shopping trip to currys i decided to pass the list onto a friend, i could have got more but being a tight so and so i just went for the 97p games, there was plenty on the list @ £3 to £5 as well.

when i was at the till and asked for a price check on the xploder she said she thinks it was 48p but it scanned @ 97p so maybe there is more price cuts on it's way lol.

No, just seems to be random stores that have the 97p games. My local doesnt and neither does the larges store in Glasgow city centre but the other one in the city around 200 yards away has the same games and some of them are 97p.

If they have World Tour Soccer on PSP, don't have any ideas of trying to trade it in in a GAME store - they'll only offer 20p for it. Also the older sports games from 2006 or earlier don't go down too well - best to only buy them if you want them for yourself. The clerk in GAME said they would only offer 1p for some of them.

For e.g. Cex are offering £2 on World Tour Soccer - PSP.
