    I am all over the place with my shifts this week. 3 lates in a row, nights tues and wed. Late friday and a night next sunday. My body clock is totally up the creek right now. I did more or less the same last week. I dont need alcohol to feel giddy at the moment. Think i need to try and sort the work thing out. But work for an agency so dont really want to turn work down.

    Well yes i do, I usually tell the agency the shifts i am available for week by week. And i do prefer to do nights. Having said that if a long day shift comes in and its getting towards the end of the week i will take it. Dont get me wrong, its not the agencies fault at all. The hospitals and nursing homes request a nurse at the very last minute usually when one of there own staff has rung in sick. And the money is good. And saving up for a months deposit and a month in advance for a house i want to rent. It wont harm me for a little while. Only need to do another month like this then i can settle into a proper work pattern.

    just make sure you don't end up exhausted and good for nowt. if you can focus on it only being for a wee bit longer that should help though.
