Oh dear guess I'll have to expect that for Mint too then? Although if they have already issued defaults, can they then start charging again?

Have you guys had defaults issued for these ones they're charging on again?

Mint isn't RBOS is it?! We haven't had this from Mint, they are happy into year two of the DMP.

    Yup ;)

Mint website for new credit cards has this clause:
Transfers from other MINT and Royal Bank of Scotland Group card accounts are not permitted
    and:
MINT is a business name of The Royal Bank of Scotland plc registered in Scotland No 90312. Registered office: 36 St Andrew Square, Edinburgh EH2 2YB

Oooh sorry, HBOS is Bank of Scotland - Mint is Royal Bank of Scotland

  • looby have you been in contact with CCCS? DOnt feel like its a been pointless - you have taken control & they are just bullying you to try & get more. would write to them, with a copy to CCCS, saying that they should contact you via them as per the agreement....
Bg hugs for you & well done on all you've done so far!

Yes I phoned CCCS as soon as I got off the phone from the "helpful" Halifax advisor and they said they will send them another letter explaining my circumstances haven't changed but they doubt it will do any good, mainly because my credit history was so good before I went on the DMP. It looks like I should have racked up a few missed payments and a couple of defaults before I got help

Thanks for the hugs :) I need them today

BTw what I forgot to say when you do your letter of complaint with "formal complaint" in big letters at the top and all those breeches quoted from that guide, at the end you tell them you want the interest frozen and the interest incurred since you first told them of the debt refunding - thus making the past year worthwhile - if you don't ask you don't get!
  • Lobby i have just posted I had the same letter today and got the same response that you did, they refused to pass on to DCA straight away it's so annoying I will end up oweing more now than when i started jan 07!!
Proud to be dealing with my debts through cccs

That's a lie from the advisor, we'd missed payments and been defaulted by them - they still do it. It's a blanket policy.
