"Banking" Tesco Clubcard Coupons

Options
i'm so sorry for making a new thread, i'm sure it's on here somewhere, but i really really can't find it.

i've got lots of tesco clubcard coupons, and one expires at the end of this month.

i've heard that you can "bank" them, so that they don't expire, as i'm not ready to purchase what i would like with my whole lot of coupons just now - perhaps in a few months time.
if some kind soul could explain what i have to do that would be ace.
so far, i'm at the stage where i chose a deal, entered the coupon code, now it says that i've got enough for the deal and any extra credit will be returned in the next mailing and that i should click continue to review and confirm my order. do i continue, or are they already "banked"?

thanks in advance!!

It means that any excess points you put onto that order will be added back to your account and sent to you next time.

  • i think you have to ring up tesco, they will then probably give you an address to return them to and they will send you them back with your next lot of vouchers in may, with the new expiry date on.

You can't 'bank' them as such - but they do have long expiry dates on them so you can save them until needed.

If you do hang on to them for a long time Tescos will replace them if they are within two months of expiry date - just call clubcard services
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D
  • I think what you mean is changing your CC vouchers into Deal vouchers before they expire, and then at some stage returning the Deal vouchers to get NEW CC vouchers with new expiry dates on them. Are you still with me? ;) .

There is a whole Tesco board on www.paidtoshop.co.uk with lots of friendly people who'd be happy to help. They would actually have experience of doing this and be able to advise you. HTH a bit :D .
