Conway and Pennine are the same company anyway jacs, so you can still join our club ;)

PTB - congratulations!!! HOW EXCITING! This is our first experience of towing anything so we are a bit nervous but apparently they tow really well (my Dad towed it home for us!).

I can almost guarantee I have seen a photo of your camper if it has been on ebay in the last 2 years...lol!

Oh wow, yes, we could do that! I will investigate campsites nearby, because to be perfectly honest, my garden is probably a bit uneven for camping. You can fight over the spare beds in our camper, but special consideration will go to those who bring jaffa cakes, naturally!

Keren, I think you have already qualified on that score!

  • Have to confess, I've never 'camped' in my life. I've always fancied it, but wonder if I'd enjoy it. I'm not massively a creature comforts person but I'm not 100% 'at one with nature' when it comes to spiders etc!

  • Thanks Snaggles - the two lines on the 99p test from Bodycare was a shock I can tell you! I think I've got my head round it now, just waiting to see m/w in 2 weeks!

Towing the campers is a doddle - even I managed it. Ours is an old model, but only been used a few times and was a complete bargain! The sheer gorgeousness of being able to put the thing up and have kettle on in 10 minutes was wonderful. We've not tried the awning as yet, thinking that will come in the summer.

    Where in WY are you?

Definitely up for camping in the garden in September....ooh, but might be a bit busy!?

    PTB x

Is it posh? I thought it was just weird! :rotfl:

ps Did someone ask for the recipe for fridge cake yesterday? I'm not sure of the quantities (I just guess), but you basically crumble up some digestives, add some melted butter and some condensed milk and spread on a baking tray about a centimetre or two thick. Bung in fridge to cool, then melt some chocolate and spread over. You can add dried fruit to the base too, but I don't like 'dead grapes' as Ryan calls them...:rotfl:

That was me Snaggles - ta hun ;)

Are you lot going AWOL tomorrow - who will I have to talk to
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Keren, me neither hun.....spiders   I'm terrified of them! But the main 'bit' of the folding camper is more like a sort of soft-top caravan, and it doesn't seem to get spidery (I found a dead one in a cupboard when we opened it up, but you get the odd one or two in a house I suppose). It looks like this:

We are in Leeds PTB - available for babysitting duties if required! :)

Spud - awwww, you MUST come to the next meet (and everyone else too - please come, it's such fun!). If I do organise something for September, I wont accept any excuses! ;):D
