Magazine Substitutes!

Hey,
I know I've seen a thread on this somewhere way way back...but does anyone know of any online sites that provide as good a substitute to the more expensive magazines in the shops?
I love reading Total Film and Empire amongst others, but if theres a web equivalent for free I'd be saving myself £10 a month...its a start anyway!
Thanks for any help!

Both those sites are online and IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes both cover a lot of film stuff too.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

if you like gossipy/celeb mags there is now mag online, also digital spy is quite goodThe only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:

they're all full of trash, and just make you want to spend more money aspiring to a lifestyle you believe you are entitled to but can't afford.
In my opinion of course.
I used to spend about the same as you per month on mags. Then I wised up and realised thats it's mostly ads in those glossy mags, and I can read all the truly intersting articles in a typical "monthly" publication in one afternoon.
Now if I want to read something I go to the library, or read the newspapers that someone at work always buys.
And if I don't know what the next box office smash is or who britney spears is currently married to then I guess I can live with that

Rotten Tomatoes looks promising, and digital spy will fill up the 2 hour daily commute nicely! TaLTSB CC: £7,027.05 :eek:Debt (at peak) on 19/07/08: £9,127.05
