  • Hi Sandie!
Im 47 and OH 57 so our BR was VERY late.
We feel so much better, our relationship if anything is stronger and the kids are so much happier not having stressed out parants.
As so many others have said peace of mind and taking life one day at a time is all we can do.
I expect to live to be around 80 + (with luck;) ) so I feel that I do have time to rebuild my life .But to be honest my family and freinds mean so much to me as long as I have enough money for a roof over our heads, keep warm and well fed.I will be content.
    Big hug for now.x
Some of the best lessons we ever learn,we learn from our mistakes and failures.the error of the past is the success and wisdom of the future. :j

Very Emotional today so please forgive me.One lesson bc has taught me, apart from never wanting credit again,is that my family means more to me than anything. They have been so good even my dad who is 76 offered to help,my sister who is a bank manager sent me flowers when she found out.Yes i am resentful sometimes, towards my imediate family as they "allowed" me to spoil them. I have learnt a very hard, painful lesson which as long as i live i will never repeat. Your ? "do we ever recover" yes but we come out the other side a different person and in my view a better person.Got to go starting to ramble.Dalip
