!!!!!! - Strange Letter from DCA

Cheers Ras but unfortunately I had sent the letter by then... BUT
Sent the letter with Postal Order recorded delivery at 1400 hrs Yesterday
Today at 1245hrs recieved a call from FCM saying yes we have found your last payment from feb and everything is ok. I asked what my balance was and it was what I expected (must have been a mistake she said... ). I am fully up to date with payments (yes I knew that).
Unfortunately they are going to send the Postal Orderback as it must be made payable to Natwest and not them, so I have to amend that and send it back to them.
So all in all it was all 'A mistake' .... a shakedown more like!
Cheers to all the people who posted for their help, I'll let you know what happens with the Original Credit Agreement when that comes through."I don't want to sound cold and un-caring, but I am those things so that's the way it comes out" - Bill Hicks0 -
Well folks this is what has happened with this since I last posted :
They returned my CCA appication and PO the very next day, requesting the PO be made payable to Nat**st.
So got a new PO (you can not change the name on the PO if it is printed, cost the 45p charge again to get it re-done) and sent it off with the letter Recorded Delivery.
The 12+2 initial deadline has come and gone (25th March 2008) so they are now in default.
I paid my regular 100 via SO on the 1st of this month
I am 21 days away from the debt being unenforcable, at which point I will :- Send them a letter saying debt is now unenforcable so no more payments
- I shall cancel the 100 quid SO
- I shall start making a claim for ALL my money back
Have fun"I don't want to sound cold and un-caring, but I am those things so that's the way it comes out" - Bill Hicks0 -
Update :
Recieved a letter today from Natwest, I opened up and thought 'Damn it they've sent me a CCA', read on and it said...
