Still no CCA from BCW....

Sent off for a CCA from BCW for an alleged debt I still owe Talktalk (dont owe them a penny) amd although they wrote to me to say they had put the account on hold until a CCA was sent from talktalk, I haven't recieved anything. I sent the CCA request on the 10th, they replied within a couple of days. How long do I wait before sending the next letter (whatever that is! Seen it somewhere....)?
I personally think they're just stalling things on purpose, maybe to stop me from taking it further, hoping I'll forget about it...I dont know. They have not phoned once since then though, whereas before they were phoning everyday.
