Couldn't find any in my local Tesco, they were all £1.46 a bottle so left them there.

Is the suggestion to take the voucher off the 355ml bottle and then use the voucher on a 500ml bottle without actually buying the 355ml bottle? If so, I can see how you get the bargain, though the level of honesty is obviously questionable.

If the suggestion is to buy the 355ml bottle for 99p and then use the voucher to get the 500ml bottle for 96p, you are not actually getting a bargain. You end up with 855ml of ale for an outlay of £1.95 = £2.28 per litre / £1.29 per pint. At Asda, you can get 2 packs of 4 x 500ml bottles for £9 = £2.25 per litre / £1.28 per pint.

  • actually no need to take the voucher off, if you tip the bottle up it falls off!
