I have to wash my hair every mornnig, it is highlighted, fine and straight. I am currently using L'Oreal Elvive for coloured hair (the red bottles), my hairdresser recommended it to me.
I just comb my hair afterwards and it hangs straight and soft and shiny. I only dry it if I am going out early. If I wash it at night, it looks a mess after I have slept on it.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

I use Elvive for coloured hair as well and get loads of compliments how nice my hair looks, really brings the colour out and my hair feels gorgeousITV Winners Club #87 :eek:0 -
I am so jealous that all of you ladies have found your perfect shampoo!!!
(but of course very happy for you!)
so is there a way that I can wash my hair at night and in the morning it still looks good?
only because the only time i get to wash my hair in the morning is at the weekend...All men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0 -
What I would really really love is if I could wash and condition my hair and leave it to naturally dry in a condition that was not frizzy and fairly straight but with a bit of volume!! haha every girls dream I guess.....does any one have any tips
if your hair is not like that naturally then you are probably expecting too much. A friend of mine at uni could wash her hair with shower gel and it would dry naturally perfectly straight - biatch
I find that if I use the same shampoo or conditioner for too long it seems to get less effective so I don't have a favourite. at the moment I am using Dove which seems to leave my hair quite silky. tried timotei, didn't like it.
herbal essences, nice smell but not so good at de-tangling thick hair
bright pink bottle out of boots (Mark Something?) Poker Straight range smells lush and seems pretty good but bit more expensive
I used to like Vosene before wella rebranded it. doesn't seem the same since.
I haven't bought any really expensive stuff (ie over £3 a bottle) before so can't comment on it
Rinsing afterwards with cold water is supposed to make hair shinier (I haven't tried it much as I think I'm allergic to cold showers)

I used to use V05 range, then went onto Herbal Essences but recently have been using L'oreal Elvive Nutri-gloss Light. For the first time ever my fringe doesn't stick up at all angles in the morning after washing it the night before
It smells lovely and makes my hair feel real soft. Not too sure if its any shinier though
Does anyone know if theres much difference between the regular Nutri-gloss and Nutri-gloss light? I can get the regular one much cheaper but daren't swap incase my fringe goes bonkers again.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Not a fan of TIGI stuff, although they do smell lush!
My fav is Aussie moisturising shampoo followed by their 3 minute miracle conditioner, and it smells as good as TIGI and is a lot cheaper. I always stock up when they on 3for2.

I second the vote for Aussie - when I am too skint for Kerastase, the Aussie range is the one I go for. The 3-minute miracle stuff is really good, and you used to be able to get sachets of it for not very much money, so that would be a useful way to try it as a sample.0 -
Pantene Ice Shine leaves my hair with maximum gloss and shine and feeling soft but I do tend to buy whats on special offer
Bought a bottle of Fudge once and the shampoo was horrible my hair clumped together when wet and had a nasty feel to itProud to be dealing with my debts Sealed pot challenge 180 £2 coins £184 2008 £1 a day challenge£100+ Nectar 4809/Boots 1724 Focus for 2008 Clear £1777.00 CC, [strike]£1000 [/strike]overdraft Holiday [strike]£525[/strike]:j CC recovery£976 NO SMOKING WK7 £2100 -
