Mucky sheet

Options
My Oh has been ill in bed for a while (changing bedcothes weekly incidentally). But when I went to put a fresh washed (and tumble-dried  )sheet back on the back on the bed I noticed it still looked grubby where he'd been laid previously. Sweat or skin grease maybe?
Any ideas on how I can get this sheet clean again please?

Suggestions found on websites when I googled it include

Napisan - soaking in bucket of Napisan (but Boots do their own cheaper version)

    Soaking in bio powder solution

Wet stained area and rub in bicarb then wash in normal way

    Soaking in ammonia solution

The second method would be using water and vinegar. Use 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and ½ a cup of water on the sweat stains, and soak it for about 30 minutes, before laundering on cool and dry. This is an alternative method to hydrogen peroxide.

Pouring a can of coca cola in the washing machine with the sheets (I really am unsure on that one!)

One thing I will say is don't tumble dry them if you want to try another method as the stains are still there, this often can set the stain
One day I might be more organised...........

I'll try soaking it in a bucket before washing again.
It's a large area to spot treat, maybe shoulder to foot in length and about 3' wide in places

Unfortunately it may be set already as I've tumble-dried to the sheet.

I change my pillow cases twice a week, think my husband must have a sweaty head  I like white bedding so I always put on a really hot wash.
