I tried Tesco at 10.42 this morning, got one in my basket but by the time I went through checkout they were out of stock. Tesco are very slow at updating their stock levels.Dum Spiro Spero0

try using www.wii-console.co.uk stock locator. I've found this system very fast and helpful, both in the hunt for a wii and now the wii-fit.
I had just logged onto the www.wii-console.co.uk this morning about 10.40 ish, and had the stock locator on watch, within seconds it popped up, and with fingers on fast track got onto the tesco website, didnt have time for quidco or any discount codes to be added, just paid........... yes, i had one , has to be the quickest search ever.....after I received the confirmation email from Tesco, I went back to the site.........and saw out of stock.
Kids were happy, after I had to disappoint them the other day via freemans,i ordered one last week, expecting it to arrive within 9 days as website said, however on calling c/services for a date yesterday they told me there won't be any til November........ there was us waiting for the delivery....... kids were gutted.
guess, what, turns out hubby had been on tesco website last and left his credit card details in, so he actually paid for it not me0 -
kl ill try that
is it the realtime checker on www.wii-console.co.uk that refreshes every 60 seconds?0 -

is by far the best stock checker, thats how i got mine through John Lewis the other day.... it pops up over all your other programmes you have running on your PC, and if you click straight on the shops link, takes you there in an instant. I was too late for a lot of the pop up's, but the John Lewis ones i got three of in the space of a few minutes the other day. Even after i'd purchased one, i went back on out of interest to see if there were more, and there was!0 -
Yes thats the stock checker I used , and got mine, had only had the checker working a few minutes too0

Hi all, just wanted to say a thousand thanks for all the contributors to this thread and all the sound advice offered.
I've finally managed to nab myself one  in Game, Ilford (The Exchange). There were 'a couple' left so if you're quick you may get one.
Also Gamestation in Ilford has quite a few in stock but they are only being sold as part of a bundle with the Yoga Mat, battery charger and silicone case for £99. Might be useful for someone who was planning to get some accessories anyway or someone who was prepared to pay the premium prices for the balance board and game only.
Finally, Smyths toy shop (I have used the one in Chadwell Heath) are showing stock in their Charlton and Frien Barnet branches. Google under Smyths toys and you'll find the site easy enough. The downside is that you cannot order online or reserve the Wii Fit so it may be worth calling the branches first to check stock levels and ask if they'll hold on to one for you.
Hope this helps someone

Anyone want Wii Fit from Great Yarmouth market place store????
I reserved it on Argos website yesterday but won't be able to make it there, so thought I'd offer to you nice people here. It will only be held until the store closes today so you'll have to be quick.
I wrote down the reservation code but never got a confirmation email. The code is 003987 - good luck if you try it, hope it works for you!0
