Wii (FIT) fitness now WHERE TO FIND (UPDATED 27/4)

Bit annoyed at Game making you buy extras you don't want/need (but fully understand why they'd do that). I'd be happy to buy the bundle they have of the WII-fit and ski game for £99. but guess what? THAT one isn't in stock!

No I bleeding haven't ..... and do you know why I haven't ? Cos they cancelled my order without trying to contact me. Apparently the delivery address was marked as having been used for fraudulent activity. It was my works address. Hundreds of parcels turn up there every week for the staff, and yet somehow Argos decided that its on their naughty boy list. Fair enough, but why didnt they contact me to get an alternative address... Why not just call me and say they could only deliver to my home address.

I reckon they are just using it as an excuse. Some numbnut ballsed up the order so they cancelled it.

The nice lady i have just spoken to said that if I tried to order again and use the same address then it will be rejected again. So I phoned again to try and order it again for my home address, guess what, none available for Home Delivery. Great. What a waste of bleeding time that was. :mad:

So no present for my girlfriend this year then (no, I'm not trying to tell her anything, she asked for it).

I shall continue to follow the thread to see if any more good ideas come up. By the way if anyone suddenly sees any in stock in the Kingston/Surbiton/New Malden area, give us a shout. Thanks.

Me and 2 friends managed to get them from Game today, 2 in Edinburgh and one in Clydebank!

I also placed an order on Saturday, it said 'in process' until this evening and now says dispatched. I also received an email tonight to this effect so fingers crossed.....

I got mine from Zavvi in Leeds as mentioned a couple of pages ago. I had to check there every lunch time for a couple of weeks but they get stock in every now and then (but don't know in advance of the delivery whether or not it will contain Wii Fits)

If you work in a city centre, I'd advise you to keep popping into shops every lunch time.
