Can I confirm if anyone who managed to get a Wii Fit from Woolworths a few days back has had the funds taken from their bank account/credit card?

    TIA,

    Army.

The money came out of my account on Saturday and like others, is now saying delivery by 14th. Someone else on here has said that delivery by courier takes upto 7 days which is why the date changed from the 7th to the 14th. HTH.

I've arranged to collect in store and have just check my order again, it still set at "Ready To Dispatch", however if you click this, it says -

"This item has billed successfully and is ready for despatch within the next 24 - 48 hours (usually the same working day as the item is billed)."

So, it'll be interesting to see when it does arrive!! ;)

I've just had a message from Woolworths re my order:

Dear Customer, Thank you for choosing to order your Wii Fit with Woolworths. Woolworths endeavours to ensure that all product availability information on its website is accurate. However, on very rare occasions errors do occur. Due to an isolated technical problem the ‘Wii Fit’ was showing as available to order with an expected delivery date of the 8th July. Whilst Woolworths does it’s utmost to deliver items on or before the expected delivery date provided this is not always possible. The overwhelming demand for this particular product inevitably causes concern to our customers regarding the fulfilment of their order. We would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that your order will be satisfied and the new expected delivery date for your Wii Fit is now the 11th July. Woolworths Customer Services

HMV in Argyle Street, Glasgow have Wii Fits in stock. Picked one up about an hour ago.

Theyre up the back of the shop at the games counter, and as far as I know theyre all behind the counter.

    Happy hunting!

Well the Zavvi order has apparently gone though. I thought that they were going to back order it for me as it seemed to be in stock for too long. Trouble is I went and bought one in Asda in Bristol on Saturday and so now I have 2.

I've also just had the same message! So does that mean it will arrive on 11th or up to seven days after that date?

I think I'm going to have another cake and ponder this situation!!! :D

Which area of the world do you live in saveum? I'm sure you'd be able to get rid of it no problem, either to someone here who lives nearby, in the local paper or even on e-bay. **EDIT** Just looked on e-bay and people are paying in the region of £90 to £100, plus around £20 or so P+P for them!?! That's one way of putting £30ish quid in your pocket, or taking the view your Wii Fit has only cost you 40 quid!!! ;)

  • Hi,

Does anyone know if any Wii Fits are in stock in the Wiltshire/Hampshire area?

Would like to get one as a birthday gift by 24 Aug 08, I've registered with several "stock checkers" but seem to miss the boat every time!

    Regards,

    Paul
