yeah its saying out of stock for me too,and when im clicking on the wii its just taking me back to home page of woolworths.am i doing it right?how are you lot getting it through to a delivery date email?

They've had them in stock for about an hour now, hopefully they've just got a lot of stock to sell. Fingers crossed.

They might have been stockpiling them for a while and have opened the flood gates today, rather than selling them in dribs and drabs.

Either way, I'm happy that as Woolworths as such an established company, that they won't let us down.

However, people should be aware that the Woolworths website states the delivery date is only estimated and people should wait seven days after this date before contacting them to chase up your order!!!

I ordered two on separate orders. One for my Mum and one for a friend.

The order status on the first one is "Back order or Pre-Release" and on the second one it says "Order placed with our suppliers"

Just to warn people that my sister ordered my an ipod from woolworths (when they were still relatively new) with a estimated dispatch dat. After the day had been and gone I was told that it wasn't a guarantee and they did not have any ipods in stock.

Hope things have changed since then.

The status has changed on both now to "Back Order or Pre-Release"

Dixons have stock, but only selling them with the Wii console at a total of £249.89!!

Just phoned woolworths customer service, if in your account it says back order or pre release then you haven't got one this time but will be automatically allocated one if stock comes in again withing 28 days. Apparently only a certain number will be on back order so you can keep it at back order and still look elsewhere. No money will have been taken from your account and you can call and cancel at any time.

I am soooooooo disappointed! But congratulations to anyone who got one!
