Argos are showing as having stock for home delivery, but I just tried to order one now, and when I completed the order it said they were out of stock. There's also none in stores locally.

I had this problem (in Cardiff) and I rang the 'helpline'. How's this for a stupid system - you have to go through all the fuss of entering your address and credit card details and only then will the system check your local delivery warehouse. If the item isn't there, tough luck. She even suggested I tried other delivery postcodes as they do have plenty of stock but nowhere near me. Bonkers! Why don't they check the postcode first? I'm getting tetchy now as DS2 has decided he wants one for his birthday on 28th. Sigh!

I've just got back from Watford, Harlequin shopping centre...there's a shop called ZAVVI (formly Virgin Megastore) which had loads of Wii Fits in stock piled on the shop floor!

The shop is kinda out of the way....opposite John Lewis, so if you didn't know it was there you probably wouldn't go looking for it....
I got my Wii Fit via Argos on launch day :j and it's GRRRRREATTTTT!

i ordered one yesterday from argos and selected next day delivery but didnt expect to get it,had a knock on ther door at 8 this morning and it was delivery man with my wii fit!!!
